Squashed backup commit (no shallow-clone history issues) of xiaomi-mt6833-dev/kernel_xiaomi_mt6833 (lineage-23.2 branch, upstream commit 9eece662e) plus all fixes applied to get everpal_defconfig building clean against a modern (GCC 15.2.0) toolchain -- see the previous commit message on the lineage-23.2 branch (also in this repo history is not available here since this is a squashed snapshot; full incremental history lives in the local DL380 checkout and the upstream GitHub remote). * Generic system power control capability
|

Power-management integrated circuits or miscellaneous hardware components are
|
|
sometimes able to control the system power. The device driver associated with these
|
|
components might need to define this capability, which tells the kernel that
|
|
it can be used to switch off the system. The corresponding device must have the
|
|
standard property "system-power-controller" in its device node. This property
|
|
marks the device as able to control the system power. In order to test if this
|
|
property is found programmatically, use the helper function
|
|
"of_device_is_system_power_controller" from of.h .
|
