Squashed backup commit (no shallow-clone history issues) of xiaomi-mt6833-dev/kernel_xiaomi_mt6833 (lineage-23.2 branch, upstream commit 9eece662e) plus all fixes applied to get everpal_defconfig building clean against a modern (GCC 15.2.0) toolchain -- see the previous commit message on the lineage-23.2 branch (also in this repo history is not available here since this is a squashed snapshot; full incremental history lives in the local DL380 checkout and the upstream GitHub remote). * Texas Instruments OPT3001 Ambient Light Sensor
The driver supports interrupt-driven and interrupt-less operation, depending
on whether an interrupt property has been populated into the DT. Note that
the optional generation of IIO events on rising/falling light threshold changes
requires the use of interrupts. Without interrupts, only the simple reading
of the current light value is supported through the IIO API.

Required properties:
- compatible: should be "ti,opt3001"
- reg: the I2C address of the sensor
Optional properties:
- interrupt-parent: should be the phandle for the interrupt controller
- interrupts: interrupt mapping for GPIO IRQ (configure for falling edge)
Example:
opt3001@44 {
compatible = "ti,opt3001";
reg = <0x44>;
interrupt-parent = <&gpio1>;
interrupts = <28 IRQ_TYPE_EDGE_FALLING>;
};
