Squashed backup commit (no shallow-clone history issues) of xiaomi-mt6833-dev/kernel_xiaomi_mt6833 (lineage-23.2 branch, upstream commit 9eece662e) plus all fixes applied to get everpal_defconfig building clean against a modern (GCC 15.2.0) toolchain -- see the previous commit message on the lineage-23.2 branch (also in this repo history is not available here since this is a squashed snapshot; full incremental history lives in the local DL380 checkout and the upstream GitHub remote). Description: (RW) Configure MSC operating mode:
- "single", for contiguous buffer mode (high-order alloc);
- "multi", for multiblock mode;
- "ExI", for DCI handler mode;
- "debug", for debug mode.
If operating mode changes, existing buffer is deallocated,
provided there are no active users and tracing is not enabled,
otherwise the write will fail.

Description: (RW) Configure MSC buffer size for "single" or "multi" modes.
In single mode, this is a single number of pages, has to be
power of 2. In multiblock mode, this is a comma-separated list
of numbers of pages for each window to be allocated. Number of
windows is not limited.
Writing to this file deallocates existing buffer (provided
there are no active users and tracing is not enabled) and then
allocates a new one.
